The Bar Manager/ Supervisor will be responsible for:
• Takes charge of handling all supervisory and operational matters relating to the beverage section
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverage to meet set standards
• Maintain an accurate inventory account of all bar items and is responsible for all bar requisitions
• Set, monitor and control budget for the beverage bar
• Plan and implement systems to maximize sale and revenue
• Resolve customer complaints promptly
• To attend all training and coaching sessions for beverage related issue such as:
- Wine knowledge, wind list, storage, handling and service of wine & champagne
- Drink list as established and approved for the outlets
- Cocktail recipes with preparation details and picture, including non-alcoholic
- Introduction on all other drinks such as spirits, whisky, eau de vie, beer, soft drinks juice, etc.
- Introduction and handling on all equipment and utensils used at the bar
Qualifications
• Experience in the management of a bar or beverage service operation
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and service drinks
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Good command of spoken and written English
